Q&A with Abigail: Athletic goal at U of L is to be a player that my teammates know they can always rely on and who will make a great impact on the field... Post college ambition is to get a great job and be able to support my family... Reasons the chose U of L is the coaches and the atmosphere on campus.. Best career moment is beating Virginia Tech on our home field in our first ever home game... The thing she likes the most about the city of Louisville is that the people show tons of support for all of the athletes on the campus... Jessica Alba would play her in a movie about her life... She wants to be remembered as an athlete and student who never gave up and did her best both academically and athletically... Advice she would give a younger player is practice may not make you perfect but it will get you pretty darn close... Athlete she admires the most is Mia Hamm... Hobbies and interests include snowboarding and reading on rainy days... If she could have dinner with three people they would be Mia Hamm, Reese Witherspoon, and Oprah... Biggest challenge she has had to overcome is making a club team and showing them she should play when the girls had been playing together for years and she was the new girl... Most important aspects of her game are keeping my head in the game and not getting frustrated when I mess up because it happens... Proudest moment of her life was winning states my sophomore and junior in lacrosse and coming in second my senior year... Earliest sports memory is lacrosse when she around 8 and the field went width-wise and the sticks had no pockets... Her role model is Mia Hamm.
