2007: With four senior outfielders on the roster, he was limited to 32 games, starting nine. Batted .300, driving in seven runs and scoring five in 50 at bats. Did not make an error in the outfield. Was a team-best 7 for 22(.318) as a pinch hitter. His pinch single in the ninth, sparked a five run rally against Evansville(5/15). Drove in a pair with a bases-loaded single in win at Indiana (5/9). Hit safely in three consecutive at bats - the first two of which were pinch singles. Doubled in 2 for 3 effort in win at Villanova (3/24b). Drove in two with a pinch single in won over Ball State (3/20). Singled and scored in win over Xavier (3/18). Belted a pinch-single at Evansville (3/14). Delivered a pinch-single against ISU (3/4). Drove in a run in pinch-hit effort in win over Illinois State (3/3).

2006: Hit six doubles and collected 15 RBI, starting 32 games in the outfield his freshman season. Drove in a pair in win over Villanova (5/14). High School: Was a three-year letterwinner for the Spartans as an outfielder. Picked in the 46th round by the Brewers in the MLB Draft. Batted .425 with seven doubles, four home runs and 25 RBI as a junior. Hit .375, driving in 23 and walking 15 times his senior campaign. Earned All Broward County and All-Conference. Played in the 2004 North/South all-star game, the 2004 East Coast Baseball Showcase, and the Perfect Game National Tournament.

Personal: Born 2/11/87 to Scott and Elizabeth Lowrey in Miami Beach. Is majoring in justice administration at U of L. He is the oldest of four children. Playing in the College World Series in Omaha is his biggest thrill in sports. Likes to hang out in his spare time. Wedding Crashers is his favorite movie and he likes to watch Baseball Tonight and Sports Center. Chicken wings, cheeseburgers and sushi are his favorite foods. Frosted Flakes is his favorite cereal and Twix is his favorite candy bar. He follows the Florida Marlins and likes to listen to country and rap music. Faced Justin Upton, the best athlete he has ever faced, in the East Coast Showcase. Would like to play golf with Tiger Woods, his dad and his little brother.
