University of Louisville junior swimmer Leslie Van Winkle qualified for her third Olympic Trial event when she went 56.90 in the 100-meter freestyle at the Post NCAA Long Course Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.

She has already qualified for this summer's Trials in the 200-meter IM and 400-meter IM. Just 45 minutes after swimming the 100-free, she improved her qualification time in the 200-meter IM by 1.5 seconds and won the event with a time of 2:18.20.

"This is quite impressive to swim that fast after three straight days of NCAA competition, so we know the physiology of our training is correct. It was a solid swim," said Arthur Albiero of his junior, who was the only woman in the BIG EAST to score at the NCAA meet."
